DA-120 Series

In 2004 we figured out how to run Dewetron systems from battery power. And not just for a few minutes: for HOURS at a time. Using today’s powerful lithium-ion batteries, we were able to even make them hot-swappable, so that you could change batteries when you are running from them. It was a big success right off the bat. Our first instinct was to integrate this technology into the DEWE-3010 - our most portable data acquisition back then. But there was one little problem: there was not nearly enough room. Adding the batteries and their supporting electronics required a complete redesign of the chassis. The result was the DA-120, a unique platform with the same basic shape as the DEWE-3010, incorporating MDAQ modules, but with hot-swappable batteries.
